Buying or selling real estate in Western North Carolina can be a complex journey. Let me simplify your experience through hard work, thorough research, and thoughtful communication.
Jody has a contagious enthusiasm for homes and for Western North Carolina that makes buying and selling real estate a pleasure for everyone. He takes great care in orienting others to the complex workings of a transaction, works tenaciously to make everything go smoothly and he takes great pride in keeping it simple.
Jody came to Asheville to be close to our lush forests and whitewater rivers. He spent several years exploring the Appalachian Mountains and the Everglades of Florida as a wilderness instructor with North Carolina Outward Bound School. Eventually drawn to an urban lifestyle, he traded his backpack for home ownership and managing a scholarship program to provide Outward Bound courses to those who otherwise could not attend. Jody then spent two years coordinating a capital campaign that has allowed WCQS Public Radio (88.1 FM) to improve their service to the Western North Carolina community.
Jody is a member of the Eco Consultant Association, comprised of REALTORS® who are working together to advance the sustainability of local real estate. With every transaction, Jody makes a contribution to our local land trust to help save 50,000 mountain acres by 2010. Jody also serves on the board of the Asheville Affiliates, annually helping four Asheville-area non-profit organizations host fundraising events. In between professional and civic passions, Jody enjoys time with his family, perfecting their landscape, hosting cookouts with friends and having fun on cycling, paddling and other outdoor adventures.
